How to get to our concerts at the volksbankmesse Balingen – by car, by train and by bus.

By car

Coming from Tübingen / Stuttgart

via the B 27
  1. Take the B 27 towards Balingen.
  2. Take the exit towards Sigmaringen/Albstadt/Balingen-Süd/Gehrn.
  3. After the loop, turn left onto “Auf Stetten” – the volksbankmesse is on the left.
  4. To park: drive past the B 463 exit and, at the end of the four-lane section, use the turning lane into the car park of the MEY GENERALBAU ARENA.

Coming from Rottweil / Freiburg

via the B 27
  1. Take the B 27 towards Balingen.
  2. Take the exit towards Tübingen/Balingen/RW-Neukirch.
  3. Turn left twice towards the B 463 – after approx. 250 m the volksbankmesse is on the right.
  4. To park: before that, turn left once more onto the B 27 (Singen/Rottweil/Endingen) and after approx. 150 m turn right into the car park.

Coming from the A 81

Junction B 463 / B 27
  1. The volksbankmesse is right on the B 463 and B 27 federal roads, with a connection to the A 81.
  2. The easiest way is to enter “Auf Stetten, 72336 Balingen” into your satnav or use “Plan route” below.
  3. On concert days, look out for the signs on site and possible road closures.

Parking

  • Parking is at the car park of the MEY GENERALBAU ARENA (formerly Sparkassen Arena), right on the B 27.
  • From there it is only a few minutes’ walk across the Steinach to the volksbankmesse.
  • There are about 1,000 parking spaces around the exhibition grounds.
  • At large events, please follow the signs and the parking attendants on site.

By train & bus

Tip: get off at Balingen Süd! The stop is right next to the Messegelände – only approx. 800 m or 10 minutes on foot.

  1. Take the regional train via Tübingen on the Zollernalbbahn towards Albstadt-Ebingen.
  2. Get off at the Balingen Süd stop (the RB 66 regional train stops there).
  3. On foot along the street “Auf Stetten” to the volksbankmesse – approx. 10 minutes.

Your train only stops at Balingen (Württ)?

From the railway station/bus station, city bus lines 14 and 16 take about 7 minutes to the “Rewe-Markt” stop (still called “Real-Markt” in some timetables). From there it is another approx. 600 m on foot. On foot from the station it is a good 2 km – or you can take a taxi.

You’ll find current connections at Deutsche Bahn or naldo. After the concert, not all trains and buses are still running in the evening – best plan your journey home in advance.
